About Us
More Than A Market
What began as a community market has grown into something much bigger. The Local Habit Community Initiative was created to bring people together through meaningful experiences that support wellness, entrepreneurship, education, leadership development, community connection, and family engagement across Central Florida.
Today, our work extends far beyond events. We create opportunities for small businesses to grow, youth entrepreneurs to gain real-world experience, women to build meaningful relationships, families to connect with resources, and community members to find spaces where they feel welcomed, supported, and empowered.
Everything we do is rooted in one simple belief: Strong communities are built when people have opportunities to connect, grow, and support one another.

Signature Programs
The Children's Market
One of our most beloved and impactful programs, The Children's Market is where young entrepreneurs step into their potential and discover what they are truly capable of.
Building Tomorrow's Leaders Today
The Children's Market is one of our signature programs designed to help youth entrepreneurs build confidence, leadership skills, communication abilities, financial literacy, and real-world business experience. Children ages 5–17 create and operate their own businesses while learning valuable lessons about entrepreneurship, responsibility, customer service, and problem solving.
This program goes far beyond selling products at a market. It is a transformational experience that teaches young people how to set goals, manage money, communicate with customers, and take ownership of their ideas. Many participants return year after year, growing their businesses and their skills with each experience.
The Children's Market provides hands-on experiences that help prepare young people for future success — both personally and professionally — while inspiring them to dream bigger and believe in the power of their own ideas.
Women's Community
Her Space
Her Space is a women's community focused on meaningful connection, personal growth, wellness, leadership development, support, and authentic relationships. It was created for women who are looking for more than networking — it is a place where women can show up exactly as they are, be fully welcomed, and grow alongside a community that genuinely cares.
Through events, workshops, social experiences, wellness activities, and mentorship opportunities, women are able to build genuine friendships and find community in every season of life. Whether navigating career transitions, motherhood, entrepreneurship, or simply looking for a space to breathe and be known, Her Space provides the environment and the community to make that possible.
Her Space was built on the belief that women thrive when they are in community with one another. Every gathering, workshop, and event is designed to create connection, spark growth, and remind every woman that she is not alone in her journey. This is a space for real women, real conversations, and real relationships.

Community Wellness
The Recharge
The Recharge is a community wellness experience focused on helping individuals improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being in a supportive, inclusive, and accessible environment. We believe that wellness should never feel out of reach — and The Recharge was designed to break down the barriers that often keep people from prioritizing their health.
Participants can engage in fitness classes, wellness demonstrations, educational workshops, health resources, recovery experiences, and community-centered activities designed to make wellness more accessible and inclusive. Every experience is crafted to meet people where they are — regardless of age, fitness level, or background.
The Recharge encourages people of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels to prioritize their health and well-being. When we feel better, we show up better — for ourselves, our families, and our communities. This program is our commitment to making whole-person wellness a community value, not a luxury.

The Overflow
The Overflow is a Christian community experience designed to bring people together through faith, community, local businesses, worship, family-friendly activities, encouragement, and meaningful conversations. It is a gathering place for everyday people seeking connection, spiritual encouragement, and a sense of belonging in a world that can often feel disconnected and overwhelming.
